Learn how to respond during and after an active shooting.
An active shooter is generally defined as “an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area.” Due to the increase in this type of attack, it has become increasingly important to train armed individuals to counter these attacks.
This course runs over two days and encompasses both active shooter defence, as well as the treatment of mass casualty events.
The lifesaving information this course provides is invaluable for those who carry a weapon, and those who are unarmed. It programs you to respond with a survival mindset, to clearly and methodically evade and barricade, neutralise attackers, and provide necessary treatment to the wounded.
